Large visible release of refrigerant from compressor.

Cause |
|
All Seltec and some Sanden compressors are fitted with a PRV (Pressure Relief Valve) This valve will release if the systems high pressure reaches 425PSI. This would indicated a faulty pressure switch or cycling switch, it could also indicated inadequate air flow through the condensor and radiator.

Solution |
|
Replace the PRV part # 8851000 every time as they will more than likely continue to leak after popping one time. Check all switches on the system and make sure the condensor and radiator are free of debris.
